PROBATE/ESTATE ADMINISTRATION
Preparation of all Probate Court filings from the initial Petition to the Affidavit of Closing. In addition preparation of Fiduciary Income Tax Returns. I will assist with date of death valuations to prepare the inventory; preparation of cash needs to determine gross taxable estate for proper tax planning during the administration process. I can efficiently communicate with your office and your clients to administer your clients’ estates from beginning to close.
ESTATE TAX PREPARATION AND FILING
I have extensive experience preparing and filing federal (Form 706) and state estate tax returns, CT-706 and CT-706NT for estates of all sizes, which includes assembling the exhibits to the tax return.
FIDUCIARY ACCOUNTING
I prepare periodic and final fiduciary accountings for Estates and Trusts. Accountings can be simple and complex. I can prepare both. In addition, I can assist with gathering the accurate information to complete the accountings. Whether you need the accounting for one year or ten years. I have the experience to complete what you need done either for filing with the probate court or as a firm practice to prepare the accountings for the Trustee. I take pride in preparing accurate and clear accountings.
FIDUCIARY INCOME TAX RETURNS
I prepare Federal and Connecticut Fiduciary Income Tax Returns, Forms 1041 for Estates and Trusts that do not involve partnerships or S-Corps. I assist with e-filing these tax returns.
TRUST ADMINISTRATION
Prepare periodic or annual accountings, assist with annual distributions and review of cash needs annually.
CONSERVATORSHIP AND GUARDIAN OF THE ESTATE MATTERS
I have extensive experience with Conservatorships and Guardian of the Estate matters. I worked at the Hartford Probate Court for 8 years where I learned the filing requirements for both of these Fiduciary Titles. I prepare the Inventory, annual accountings, assist with the annual reports and scheduling of the physician evaluations for the Conservatorship matters. Great care is needed in these matters when working with families, which I can assist.
