About Me
Stephanie Stevens CEO | Paralegal
Thank you for visiting my site. I wanted to be a paralegal my junior year in high school after taking a Business Administration class that spoke about the paralegal profession. I was inspired to obtain my Associates Degree in paralegal studies at Manchester Community College. After taking the Trusts and Estates course, I knew this was the area of law I wanted to work in. I spent my first 8 years out of college working at the Hartford Probate Court in the Conservatorship department and later ventured out into the private sector in 1995, where my career began as a Trusts and Estates Administration Paralegal.
I have 25 years of experience working closely with attorneys at law firms in the Trusts and Estates area. This is where I gained valuable knowledge with Estate Settlement, Trust Administration, Accountings and Fiduciary Income Tax Preparation.
Starting my own freelance paralegal business was a dream of mine. I enjoy working with law firms and their clients who contract me. I am committed to relieving the stress for my clients for what can be an overwhelming process. I am a supportive guide to them during this tough time in their lives of losing a loved one.
My business handles all aspects of Connecticut Estate Administration from A to Z, Trust Administration and Fiduciary Income Tax preparation. I am proficient with MS Word, Excel and other Office Products, Estate Val, OneSource Accounting and Estate Tax Software and Turbo Court e-filing system. I am committed to producing excellent quality work efficiently.
In my free time, I enjoy the beach, yoga, spending time with family and friends and watching my favorite movies. I live in Stratford, CT with my fiancé, son and stepson.
I am a member of the Connecticut Bar Association, a State of Connecticut Notary Public; a member of the Central Connecticut Paralegal Association and the National Federation of Paralegals Association.
